College Fair.
I guess the largest college fair in the country is coming to town this week, to the Minneapolis Convention Center. I figure I should probably go, I have several schools that I’m already applying to but it can’t hurt to take another look. I’ve been thinking about different options for myself for college. I want to apply to at least one school in Canada, probably York U near Toronto. I think it would be a really cool experience and who knows maybe after November 4th, 4 years in Canada wouldn’t be so bad. But I hope it wouldn’t be for that reason, I know York has a good film program so that’s the main reason for my application. I’m also looking to apply to at least one school in my home state, just in case. I love Minnesota and I could live here but I think I want to see other places for a change. And what better opportunity to do it than at school? I figure I better apply to a school or two closer to home just in case circumstances change and going east isn’t a reality. It’s a pretty stressful process but I’ll pull through. Don’t worry about me. For those going through the process with me, keep it up. There are a lot of good schools out there and remember, there is more to life than college and a degree. Peace.
