Man on Wire.
Hello all, I just returned from the new documentary Man on Wire, playing down at the Lagoon in Minneapolis. I liked it a lot. It’s about this guy who plans to run a tight-rope between the two World Trade Center towers in the 70’s and walk across. It’s about his planning and the friends who help him and the obsession he has with this feat. They have some really amazing footage from the meetings and of him practicing in his backyard. I haven’t seen any other documentaries this year but I would definitely recommend this one for those who enjoy the genre and even those who don’t.
