Day 5
On Sunday we walked through this little market that was on Lexington Ave. I don’t want to call it a farmer’s market but it kind of had that feel however, I’m sure the majority of the food there was not home grown. I had a gyro and my brother got some fried rice. We walked up to Central Park and looked around there for a while. There was a concert going on at the free stage there and we stayed for some of that. We ended up leaving before the main act, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, came on because we were hot and we were planning to see them on the following Thursday when they came to the Minnesota State Fair (and we did!). After that we walked through Central Park a little more and took a bus up north of the park. While at the concert, Johanna won a gift certificate to a restaurant and we went and ate there. Then we relaxed a little before our travel day on Monday. Here are some pictures. Peace.
