So I’m back to school after a week of exploring Pennsylvania with friends who live there. I saw Philadelphia, Bloomsburg and Harrisburg. It was a great trip. As my earlier post says, I got to go to the art museum in Philadelphia, which was really cool. I went into New York City on St. Patrick’s Day ,which was an adventure. My friend Brennin and I drove to New Jersey and took a train in and just walked around. It was really relaxing and good not to have any pressure of set plans. Just walk around and see the city. We got food at this place called the Skylight Diner which seemed to me like a place that didn’t attract so many tourists, but was a place that people from the city would go to eat, but maybe I’m way off with that impression. I got the daily special of corned beef and cabbage in honor of the holiday. It was tasty. Later in the week I got to go to Bounce Plex which is this amazing place where they have these trampolines set up so you can jump from one to the other and off the walls. It was exhausting and a whole lot of fun.
The travels all went smoothly which I’m thankful for and all the families I stayed with were super generous. It was a great way to spend my spring break. Now I’m back to the world of academia. It’s good though, I like my school. This week I’m working on my first film project in photo and I just turned in a book report for my art history class, can’t remember the last time I wrote a real book report… it’s been a while. Now I should go to bed. Peace.
