Day 2
On Thursday my dad and I woke up early to go tour NYU. We took the subway down and ate breakfast in Washington Square Park which I guess is where they filmed some of the movie I Am Legend. There was an hour long overview of the school and admission options and such and then a tour of the campus. It was really nice and I could see myself going to school there. After that we had lunch at this restaurant that had these massive burgers that were really good. Then it was back to the hotel where we rested for a few hours before getting ready to go to out. My sister got tickets for her birthday to go to Wicked. We all got dressed up and were ready to go when it started to pour. We were standing outside under a little overhang when this limo driver called us over and asked where we were going. We told him the restaurant that we were going to and he said he’d take us there for 20 bucks. We weren’t going to get a better deal then that so we took the limo the 8 blocks or so in the rain that it was to the restaurant. We ate at this Mexican restaurant that was really good, I had this open-faced shrimp quesadilla that was great. After dinner, the rain had stopped and we walked to the Gershwin Theater. I thought the play was good and my family really enjoyed it too. It was a great day and there were more to come. Peace.
