Day One: Travel
Our trip to New York was set to leave Minneapolis at 6:30 on Wednesday morning. And we left our house by 5. Well, we missed our plane. We went to the wrong terminal and it sucked but I think everyone got over it pretty quickly. So our new flight was at like 8pm. We had like 10 hours to kill. That time was spent sleeping on (or under) the benches in the airport and then we went to the Mall of America and sat around in Barnes and Nobel for a few hours. It was a long day but we got to New York and to our hotel, The Beekman Tower Hotel, which was really nice and like a block away from the U.N. It was a pretty frustrating day but after an hour or so after we missed our plane I was over it and I could laugh it off. I had a great trip and I’ll post more soon. Peace.
