New To Me #2.
I’d like to take this time to post some bands that I’ve been really into lately and only heard about since coming east. Here it goes:
The Felice Brothers - I saw these guys open for the Hold Steady early in September. Loads of energy with a kind of alternative country plus extra awesome sound.

Xiu Xiu - These guys are real experimental and I’m only scratching the surface of their discography but I’m really enjoying the albums Fabulous Muscles and The Air Force. Emotionally drenched lyrics. Diggin’ it.

Flotation Toy Warning - Cool indie rock sound. Nice melodies. Don’t know much else to say about that right now.

And I just got a whole slew of new music that I haven’t listened to enough yet to develop a strong opinion about so there very well might be another one of these very soon. Peace.
