New To Me #1.
Now that I’ve entered this new area of the world, with it comes an introduction to lots of new music. Today I’m going to start a new thing that I will continue every so often and I like to call it “New To Me.” This is where I will introduce all of you dedicated readers to a band that I have just been introduced to myself and that I like. I encourage you to share your thoughts in the comment section.
The Rural Alberta Advantage - These guys are coming to play a all day festival soon so I thought I would give them a listen before I go see them. I like them a lot. The guys voice reminds me of the Mountain Goats a little bit and The Tallest Man on Earth a bit more. I’m now extremely excited for this show.
Super Mash Bros. - MGMT + Eminem + others = Awesome dance tunes. Kinda Daft Punky but with wider range of samples. And their two albums are both available for free here!
