Tough Losses.
My baseball team has been playing really well. Better then any of the other four years I’ve played here at my high school. However, we have had some really tough losses these first few weeks. An indication of what I mean can be described with this fact: our record is 3-5; it’s not great, but in our 5 losses the run differential is a measly 8 runs in favor of our opponents. Today we lost 4-1 to Southwest, our biggest loss of the season. We played well but couldn’t get the hits when we needed them and had a few flubs in the field. Our starting pitcher threw great and I believe only had two earned runs. Things are still looking good despite our less than ideal record at this point. We are coming so close to winning these games that it’s only going to take a few more bats at the end of the season to push us on to what I forsee as a very successful end to our season. Peace.
