So here it is! My little zine “Flying Alone” is available to buy over on the brand spanking new Sleepy Sheep Shop. Only a very few copies of this “Special Edition” are available so get on it quick and if there is more interest, I will print more. The zine is a collection of photographs I took while on the various plane trips between school and home. All photos are from my cell phone. Oh and if you want to trade, I’d probably be down for that so send me an email here: david[at]sleepysheep.tv. Peace.

Headed to the NY Art Book Fair This Weekend!

Oh yeah, and it’s been paid for by this grant committee from my school so that’s awesome. Basically free weekend in NYC, except for the copious amount of books that I’ll have to pay for with my own money.

I made a zine for the first assignment in my photobook class. It’s called ‘Flying Alone’ and I just picked it up from the printer today. I’ll post photos of it soon and maybe a place where you can get one if you want! Peace.

bryancipolla: my interview with Yoni Wolf of WHY? Completed my interview with Yoni Wolf of WHY? as my first piece for But I Just Like Music. I’ve been a fan of WHY? for a little while now, so it was exciting (and a little nerve-racking) to get to talk to the man behind it. Super nice guy who held little back with his questions, a perfect person to start off interviewing. I missed doing this type of work for Buzzsaw, so I’m definitely looking forward to doing more of these. If you don’t know about But I Just Like Music, it’s a great music site (duh) started by an Ithaca alum that centers around the local Dallas music scene but also dips into the indie music scene at-large. So maybe I’ve been frustrated with indie rock these days but here is a sweet thing that everyone should absolutely check out.  The Daredevil Christopher Wright has just announced an extensive Canadian tour with Dan Mangen and an 5 song EP to go along with it!  So excited for you guys!  You should head on over to their Bandcamp and cop that.
