I Took a Jungian Personality Test.
I’m an ENFJ.  Whatever that means… You can try it out here: http://similarminds.com/jung.html I took the test on two different sites and both gave me the same result.  It’s interesting.

A New Short.
Hello everyone, I am posting to announce that I have recently finished a new short documentary about a friend of mine.  He was a senior in high school last year and in he owns over 40 pigeons.  This spring I went over and shot some footage of his pigeon coup and talked to him for a little while.  Then I kind of didn’t do much editing but I needed something for my NYU application so I decided...

A Must See: The Sting.
I watched this movie yesterday, partly as a Paul Newmen memorial (yes, we did have a moment of silence) and partly because that movie is just awesome.  A classic con-flick with a plot that twists and turns all the way to the end.  A good old Robert Redford-Paul Newman collaboration that made for yet another great film.  Check it out.  Peace.

A Must See: The Maltese Falcon.
I watched The Maltese Falcon yesterday.  That movie is amazing.  Humphrey Bogart is awesome as private detective Sam Spade, a guy who gets mixed up in the acquiring of the elusive Maltese Falcon, a statue worth a fortune.  Mary Astor and Peter Lorre co-star and do an excellent job.  I love this story and it’s the movie with one of my favorite movie quotes ever.  “What is it?” ...

The Onion.
If you haven’t picked up this week’s copy of The Onion, you really should.  Occasionally they do issues from their “archive” and this week is one of those, supposedly from 1783.  I picked up a copy at the local Vietnamese restaurant and I laughed a lot.  I haven’t read the whole thing yet but I would recommend picking one up.  My favorite was the little side bar about...

Bands I Always Come Back To.
windycitygirl: Interesting question. I’d have to say Paul Simon/Simon & Garfunkel, my love for which began in my teens, because there are few other musicians that can capture ageless melancholy so well. Also, a find from last year that I know will stick with me for the rest of my life, the Mountain Goats, because John Darnielle is hands down the best ever lyricist that I know of. But above...

Bands I Always Come Back To.
There are a few select bands that, although I may not listen to them every week or even consider them one of my favorite bands at the moment, I can continuously come back to and be totally satisfied.  These are the bands that I have based my taste in music on and they are the bands I respect the most.  The first one that comes to mind is the Arcade Fire.  Although I may not listen to them...

I Can't Stop Listening To: DeVotchka
The first song I heard from this band was on one of the Live albums from MPR’s The Current.  The song was “Queen of the Surface Streets” and I loved it.  Later I picked up their album “How It Ends” and I haven’t looked back.  These guys are really amazing.  There are four people in the band from Denver, Colorado.  I really like the lead singer’s voice...
